Fitness Sucks

A NO-NONSENSE APPROACH TO GETTING IN SHAPE

Fitness sucks. Or at least, that’s how many people feel about it. The problem isn’t fitness itself; it’s the nonsense, the misinformation, and the unrealistic expectations that come with it. Fitness Sucks! But It’s OK is a no-BS guide for the everyday person who hates working out but knows they need to do it.

Update #2 - A Book, a Business, and a Whole Lot Going On! Oct. 23, 2026

Hey everyone!
It's been a little while since I've given you a proper update, and considering how much has been happening lately, I figured it was about time.
Between writing a book, running a business, working with clients, mentoring trainers, and trying to maintain some resemblance of a personal life, things have been pretty hectic. But I'm not complaining. Well, maybe a little.
First, let's talk about the book!
Fitness Sucks! is moving closer to publication, and we're currently working toward a January 2027 release!
It's been an incredible journey getting this book from an idea in my head to something that people will soon be able to hold in their hands. Working with my publishing team at Reader Advanced/Publishizer has taught me an enormous amount about the publishing industry, and there's still plenty happening behind the scenes.
We're preparing for the promotional side of things, including podcast appearances, media outreach, book events, and opportunities to get the message in front of as many people as possible.
For those of you who've already pre-ordered, thank you! I know you've been waiting patiently, and I genuinely appreciate your support.
For anyone who hasn't yet, you can still pre-order your copy here:

So, what else has been happening?
Outside of the book, I've continued running and developing The Fusion House in White Plains, New York. We're still doing what we've always set out to do: helping people who don't necessarily love traditional gyms become stronger, healthier, and more confident.
I'm also continuing my work as a Health Performance Consultant, speaker, and mentor. One area I've become increasingly involved in is healthy aging and preventive health.
I'm proud to share that I've become a Founding Member of the Aging & Care Collaborative, an initiative formed by members of the Business Council of Westchester.
The Collaborative brings together professionals from healthcare, legal, financial, housing, home care, and other industries to help educate, connect, and support older adults, caregivers, and their families.
My contribution focuses on helping people maintain their strength, mobility, independence, and quality of life as they age.
It's something I care deeply about, and I'm excited to see what we can accomplish together.
And apparently, I've decided I don't have enough to do...
I've also been putting more energy into opportunities to speak, contribute to educational programs, connect with other authors, and participate in conversations about health, fitness, behavior change, and entrepreneurship.
The goal isn't simply to sell a book. It's to build something meaningful around the ideas in it.
Because here's the thing: after more than a decade working in fitness, I still believe we're making getting healthier far more complicated than it needs to be.
That's a big part of why I wrote Fitness Sucks! in the first place.
What's next?
As we approach January, I'll be sharing more about the book, upcoming events, interviews, and ways you can get involved.
And while there's still plenty of work ahead, I want to take a moment to thank everyone who's supported me, whether you've purchased a book, trained at my gym, attended an event, shared something I've written, or simply sent a few encouraging words.
None of it goes unnoticed.
I often talk about consistency, discipline, and showing up even when things get difficult. Turns out writing and publishing a book while running a business is a pretty good opportunity to practice what I preach.
Who would've thought?
Thanks again for being part of this journey. There's plenty more to come!
