Update #1 - THANK YOU! Jan. 24, 2020

Hi Friends,

Thank you for subscribing and preordering "IKIGAI." For the past several years I tried to get this book the traditional way. And now we are HERE! In addition to those of you who subscribed, I have to thank Alice Inoue for telling me about Publishizer and novelist and poet Lois-Ann Yamanaka for helping me polish up the story of young Choichi.

Please also let your friends and family know about this book. It's great for anyone who is anywhere on their Life's Purpose Journey. We are at about 80 orders, there is still lots of time to get the word out. Help us get to 500. America needs more books that teach and celebrate the heritage and values of our immigrant ancestors. And there are extremely few Okinawan books for children.

MAHALO again for your support and stay tuned for more updates.

Some things to look forward to are new PDF flyers with QR codes to go straight to the campaign site and a new book trailer that Joey Kamiya, illustrator Flor Kaneshiro's fiance, is working on.
