Update #13 - The First Printed Version of "IKIGAI: Life's Purpose" and FAQs April 11, 2021

Aloha Family and Friends,

My family is jumping for joy!

The first printed proof of "IKIGAI : Life's Purpose" has arrived from Brandylane Publishing and I have sent in my approval after checking everything very carefully for one last time. That means the preorders will soon be printed and nearly 1,300 books will be sent to my house for signing and mailing out to all of you who have preordered.

Here are some questions that I have been asked by many of you:

Q: When will we receive our preordered books?

A: I have just approved the last proof. The date when books will be printed should be in the next email reply I receive from Brandylane Publishing. I will send out another update as soon as I have a solid date.

Q: Where can I buy the book?

A: The official book launch is scheduled for mid-August 2021. At that time you may purchase the book at Barnes & Noble and on amazon and other bookstores. As information on which bookstores are carrying it become available, I will send updates here through email and on social media: for IG follow @chiemi_souen and Jodie Ching on Facebook.

Q: Can I still preorder the book?

A: Brandylane Publishing recently let me know that I can still order books before the book launch. If you don't want to wait until mid-August. Please message me on social media.

Q: Why is your pen name "Chiemi Souen"?

A: "Chiemi" is my Japanese name given to me by my Grand Aunt Emi. "Souen" is a name that honors my Okinawan ancestral poet roots.

Check out the unboxing of the first printed version of "IKIGAI: Life's Purpose" on my social media pages: IG (@chiemi_souen) or Facebook (Jodie Ching).

Ippei Nifwe Deebiru,

Chiemi Souen
