Update #5 - 660 and counting! And IKIGAI wisdom Feb. 13, 2020

Hi Friends,

I am doing  a "happy dance" today because we are at 660! I am seeing orders coming from various places around the U.S. which makes me so excited to be reaching places beyond the shores of my island home in Hawai‘i.

Today, I want to share some of the wisdom I learned from Grandmaster Choichi Terukina-Sensei who inspired me to write IKIGAI. Here is an excerpt from IKIGAI: Life's Purpose:

“Good job. You have practiced hard and are on a path of becoming a sanshin master. You must teach your pupils now, but most of all, you must show them their own life’s purpose. Help them find their ikigai. Plant seeds of radiant light in their hearts. Teach them to cultivate their own light by listening to their hearts. You see how the old have become young, the sick have become healthy, and the poor have found abundance? By sharing our own special gift each of us will send ripples of love, healing, and blessings to every shore.” — Miyazato Sensei to young Choichi in IKIGAI: Life's Purpose.

Mahalo for sharing IKIGAI. Flor Kaneshiro is working hard to complete the illustrations. We are focused on partnering with a publisher who believes in the value of this children's book, an inspiration to children from 8 to 100 years old.

Help us by sharing IKIGAI on your social media.
