Hello everyone
So this has been one hell of a journey for me.
Through my writing, I have had to go back through much of my recovery process, Exploring all the ups and downs. The small victories that were major triumphs. The setbacks that made me lose hope.
There were things included in the book that brought back other memories from my hospital stay. Some good, some bad. Writing about them became part of my therapy.
One thing for sure is that the people that should be recognized normally do not. The doctors, nurses, therapists, and first responders that I have now met with have been overjoyed at my recovery. It lets them know what they do makes a difference in somones life. I go to see my doctor during each visit to the VA just so he knows.
