Great news as my journey continues.
One thing I decided to do as a result of my learning and rehabilitation was to help others in my situation. This is part of the reason for my book. It gives people insight into the recovery that I went through. It also shows that there are others with Traumatic Brain Injury, and they are not alone. It seems that is one part that persons with a TBI always feel.
Well, another opportunity to help came to me through a support group that I go to. I learned of a new organization forming, Brain Injury Florida through the group. They were looking for volunteers to help kick things off. With various committees being formed, I was able to work on social media and website.
I was able to review the website that was built and contribute by building a new website for them.
The group is moving forward and will soon be able to assist others. I am looking forward to continued contributions.
