I realised what a breeze my journey to work has been since last week. The trains are almost empty, more seats available in buses, less colleagues to jostle with in the pantry just to grab a cuppa coffee, minimal queues at lunch time. Then I stopped grinning all of a sudden because I realised the missing people are mostly away for vacation, either skiing in the Alps or stretching out on some idyllic beaches while I'm back home commuting to work without any holiday travel plans. 
Doesn't matter, I thought to myself, because I already have the sweetest Xmas gift this year. Thanks to you kind & generous peeps, the Little Angels Book crowdfunding campaign was a success. 
We've just signed with Firewords and now am on to the next stage of working closely with them on layout, editing, writing & design. I'll also be working to get the perks prepared i.e. postcards, pictures printed, etc. Excited to move on to the next stage of this journey.
