I had been procrastinating on sending you another update for one reason: I failed to deliver the PDF Draft to you all on Nov. 16, 2020 as I said I would. No excuse, just apology. I simply "chickened out" on sending the draft because it looks so incomplete and because there are so many changes that happened on Safety Travel Procedures and "opening and closing of restaurants", I felt I should send you a more updated one instead of what I had.
We are still targeting Jan 16th, 2021 as the launch date on Amazon. My publisher is working on editing the first manuscript draft I submitted to them. We also have a draft of the book cover. We are still going tweak it but I am attaching a copy here for you to see.

Otherwise, I am thinking I will send the advance PDF copy to everyone when we are closer to the launch date so that it's more complete and updated. Maui is getting busier. Still not the same as last year's Holiday Season but at least not as "quiet" as when we were on a lock down. There are more cars on the road, many restaurants are busier, hotels are slowly getting occupied, and shopping centers have more retail stores opening. I really feel in my heart that this book is needed that is why I am writing it. I want it to be out there to help visitors navigate the "new normal" on Maui and to help Maui stay safe despite opening our island to tourists.
OK, now time for me to continue writing and revising.
