Augusta is originally from the culturally rich and colorful twin Island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, home of the steelpan, calypso and soca music.

I am elated to share this Memoir of an Enchanted Love with the world.
This collection of 20 poems captures the beauty and healing power of love.
The book is sectioned into 5 different categories (as indicated below) with an unrelated theme poem separating each.
Sun - Three poems that use the sun as inspiration and a guiding light as one lover expresses to the other
Moon - The moon poems convey the wisdom, brilliance and magical power of the moon as the author quietly converses with it.
Dreams - Dreams and daydreams that relish in the essence of love
Desire - Expressions of the desire to love and celebrate love.
Life - The poems that express gratitude for the journey of life and the joy new beginnings.
There are several audiences that this book would be ideal for. Single, divorced women; people transitioning in health; established poetry lovers and writing communities.
1. Poetry has a dedicated readership i.e. people who are poets themselves, or those who just love poetry but are not poets themselves. They are completely dedicated to the art form and take it seriously. Memoirs of an Enchanted Love will attract these readers.
Poetry sales in 2017 were twice what they were in 2016—with no small thanks to Andrews McMeel Publishing.
2. Single women between the ages of 33-50, recently divorced with children and who are open/willing to find true love again. They are hopeful romantics and Memoirs of an Enchanted Love fills that need in providing hope that perhaps the second time around love may just find them and stay.

3. People in various stages of their health look to different creative outlets for healing. Poetry is one such outlet. Individuals who are either already part of a poetry community or are avid literary and prose readers can find solace in the words of Memoirs of an Enchanted Love. It is that level of communication that will be easy for them and also provide hope for a brighter, healthier future.
These audiences are online, researching product information, finding product recommendations and engaging with their communities. Their purchasing power is in the trillions because they take keen interest in what they like and spend money on and many of them are entrepreneurs or have specific taste. Within the last year, poetry books sold by the social media favorites have sold in the hundreds of thousands and millions.
My marketing plan is multi-faceted because I am an unknown entering a new dimension. At present, I'm connected to a community of offline cancer survivors - individuals in recovery. As a leader in this niche community and having hosted multiple events in the past that bring them together in support of their healing, I will introduce my work to them through these events both here in the United States and the Caribbean.
The other aspect of my marketing plan includes presenting my work at events hosted in the next six months with these individuals, namely:
1. This October, I will host Pinkish, a charity fundraiser event for in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month in New York.
2. In the Spring of 2019, I will present at Picnic en Blush, a chic pop-up picnic charity event to raise funds in support of cancer survivorship programs in the Caribbean.
3. Cancer Survivorship Conference 2019 - discussion forum and special events to raise awareness and provide a memorable experience for participants and Cancer Survivors.
As Co-founder of All About The Sisters, my work will be presented at our retreats and monthly meetups to continue to build engagement and sales.
Outside of this offline community, I have a small but engaged email list of longtime fans, close knit family and friends who already have an appreciation for my written works. These will be my first tier buyers.
Outside of these major events, I will engage a Public Relations firm to secure an international speaking book tour, radio shows, podcast appearances and interviews with media companies. I also intend to host read-ins with other communities to expand presentation of my work.
Although my social media following is very small, at the very least my initial push would be to post my poetry daily in the hopes of building an audience and maintaining a presence through email blasts, Instagram, Facebook posts, and Twitter.

What is love?
Is it an expression of the heart? or an emotion that sets us apart?
From a world that is so tainted, disenchanted and insecure
A world where no one seems to care and give a dam anymore
Sometimes I wonder if there's anyone out there with a heart for love

On the river bank you sit smiling such a mischievous grin, while I indulge in the cool, refreshing water with nothing on......but my chestnut skin
I step out of the water when you summon me with your eyes
The heat of burning desire makes me feel like I am high
Your lure is so intoxicating that my head begins to spin
As I make my way towards you, your seductive aura draws me in
I lay my hand upon your shoulder, then slide myself between your leg
When I feel your manhood throbbing, beads of perspiration drip from my forehead
