Lessons to Leave a legacy
The new way to work: choose how you spend your time, enjoy what you're doing and get paid for the impact you make.
Ended
Hello,
I can imagine you're wondering, after 23 months, where your amazing book is.
I promised more timely updates, but find myself at a loss each month as to what I can share other than, I am working through every single chapter, one day at a time.
We're finalizing Part Three now.
The writing and editing process has been long and relentless for me.
It's been a true challenge and growth opportunity to finalize this project that I so lightheartedly began almost two years ago.
Writing a book is no joke.
Not when you actually want it to count, be impactful, and help people.
I want this book to change your life somehow, even if it's just one chapter, or one line.
That's what I have in mind as I dedicate an hour a day to this book.
Just to give you a frame of reference, so far, I've easily spent around 500 hours on this book.
If anything, I hope this note reminds you as it does me that good things take time and continuous effort.
I am working on it. Daily. Alongside Chiefly that is growing quickly too.
Over the past year since starting to heal from my traumatic brain injury I regularly put in 14 hour days. I regularly work seven days a week.
That's just what it takes to do this alongside everything else I've committed to.
As many of you who have dedicated countless hours to your careers, I too am putting in the work. It's just taking longer than initially projected from idea to completed product.
Thank you for you support, continued patience and belief in me.
When this thing hits the shelves I assure you a (maybe virtual) party will ensue.
Will keep you posted,
Kalyna
