Lessons to Leave a legacy
The new way to work: choose how you spend your time, enjoy what you're doing and get paid for the impact you make.

Hey!
I'm writing to update you on where we're at with the book, and me.
I'm in visual therapy for my eyesight which is helping me to spend more time on screens (hence, writing.) It's going well. I also do physio 3 times a week, see a chiropractor and an occupational therapist. My entire health care team has been truly supportive and is speeding up my recovery.
I've also begun Kickstart's new expansion into organizations to help even more people love the work they do! We're now a roster of 22 coaches from around the world. This decision was spurred from the challenging time I had alone during my initial stages of recovery. I recognized that we can do much more as coaches as a group. That means we're now providing one on one coaching services to organizations that need support with retention, engagement and productivity of their staff (who couldn't use a bit more of that right?) That being said, if this is of special interest to you or you know someone whose organization would benefit please reply and let me know!
Now for the book itself:
Publishizer hired a new pitch manager who is now handling manual pitches to a handful of publishers I'm really excited about! We have 29 publishers interested in the novel at the moment, however negotiating a deal with the best publisher possible is of more importance than a speedy signing in my opinion.
I'm submitting a 30 page sample to these publishers so they can get a sense of the book. What I'd love to do is also share the sample with you all, so you can get a sense of what's to come! Hopefully this will be a great way to start delving into the book a little earlier than everyone else. I'll be sending it upon approval from the agents.
Again, your support has helped to position this book as a front runner in the career guide space and has also given me the support to find the best possible publisher to bring the book to life! Thank you for believing in me!!
That being said, I've been notified that this entire process usually takes about a year and a half (instead of what I initially thought) so add my post concussion syndrome into the mix and I am doing my very best to deliver on that timeline anyway. I will be sure to update you as the pitches occur to the bigger publishers.
If there's anything else I can share with you let me know! Also, if you're interested in being a part of any of this more I'd love to chat with you about that :-)
Hugs,
Kalyna
