A man stumbles across a paranormal global conspiracy while trying to solve the mystery of his abducted wife.
Ended
When I started this journey, I had no idea what to expect. I knew I wanted to write and publish a book in my lifetime, but I never really took the first step until finding the Publishizer platform and learning about the concept of a pre-sale campaign. Over the past few months I've done everything I could to put out a killer campaign including movie trailers, spiffy graphics, well-crafted emails, etc.
It can feel a little uncomfortable for someone like me to ask people for their help...to buy a book that hasn't even been finished yet. To reach out to people you haven't spoken to in awhile and to ask for something. While difficult, it's also been a good exercise in reconnecting with people I may otherwise not have done so with. All in all, it's been a rewarding experience, albeit a stressful one. I'm hard on myself, and anything other than the ultimate goal of 250 pre-sales would be a failure in my opinion.
Of course I know that is not really true. While I have stalled at 173, that's still 173 opportunities to have my story read. 173 pre-sales to be accountable to. And I've raised a few bucks for a worthwhile charity. It's a start.
I'm not sure how this will play out at this point. The only likely scenario is finding a business owner who needs some help with marketing or a website that I can offer in exchange for a large book package. So that is my last ask to all my current supporters. Not so much asking you to bug your network once again (it doesn't really work that well anyway), but to think if there is anyone in your network that could use marketing or design work. I'll offer them my services at a much discounted rate in exchange for a book package.
Thanks again, and regardless of how things shake out, I'm immensely thankful for your support.
