Hello Mirrors Backers!

Hope you are all well and as always, thank you for your support. I wanted to provide some quick updates as I feel it's my duty to do so in exchange for all of your amazing support. I am in the thick of writing, and needless to say, IT'S NOT EASY! Writing non-fiction on my blog was way easier, but crafting a fictional story is a whole new ballgame. I'm starting to get the hang of it, but I want it to be great, so it's a slow process. The good thing is I have the full story fleshed out. In my head. I just need to get it down on paper.

Without further ado, the updates:

• While it was my hope to land a publishing deal, it seems more likely that a self-publishing route is the way I will go. That's not to say that a publishing deal won't happen, but I won't know that until the first draft is complete. I'm ok with this as ultimately my goal with the pre-order campaign was to validate the idea, build some accountability and create extra motivation to see this through. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
• While I had an ambitious desire to have this complete by summer, it's more likely that I'll need more time factoring in juggling life and writing, and the likelihood of going the self-publishing route. Know that it is my commitment to you to have this book in your hands this year. However I'm putting quality or speed.
• It's my intention to provide insights and tidbits on my blog and FB page more regularly. I don't want to spam your inboxes with needless updates, so if you'd like to see more of what's going on, be sure to subscribe to my blog or follow my FB page.
