Today, he works in the capacity of Manager of Business Transformation in the UAE for the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company.

Pete holds an MBA from the Australian Institute of Business. Over the past twenty-four years, he has worked directly for major organizations such as Repsol, BP, British Gas, Proman, Techint, SNC-Lavalin, Voest-Alpine, H.B. Zachary, KBR, Carillion, amongst others. In one recent role as Operations Director, he led a significant integrated supply base and pipe yard transformation at his organization. The company grew from seventeen to one hundred and forty personnel in just six months and this was only one of many occasions when he demonstrated his commitment to the profession with a strong sense of responsibility in ensuring that the entire transformation process worked in both the staff's and the company’s favor.

As a business author, keynote speaker, and social media expert, Pete commands an audience of devoted followers who avidly support him in all his endeavors. Apart from his day-to-day operations, Pete has, by no surprise, also volunteered his time to global development. By applying thought leadership during his spare time, Pete delves into academic writing and he is currently authoring two texts on Leadership and Entrepreneurship. Update #3 - Thank you! Pete Miguel Ward Oct. 31, 2020

Dear friends,

I am pleased to share that at the end of the contest, we placed third (3rd). Yes, “WE” did it since it was because of all of you, my cherished friends, that I was able to achieve so much!

For me 1st place was and will always be the target as it ensures a high result each time. However, being in the top five means that samples of my draft manuscript are now being pitched to multiple publishers across the globe for consideration.

Thus far, the book has been selected by four hybrid and service publishers but I am sure that due patience will allow me to enter into an agreement with a traditional publisher soon, which I obviously prefer.

As promised, I have already included an acknowledgement page in the book for everyone and I will contact you individually to learn how you wish to be “recognized” in this feature. Some persons may have a preference for how they want their names to appear whilst some may rather no acknowledgement at all, which is okay.

The one certainty, however, is that your autographed version will be delivered to you (according to the bonus you selected) along with an audio version, once released later on.

I’ll keep you all updated right here on further developments as we enter into this critical selection phase.
