A little update to our subscribers from the Women's Euro-Arabian North Pole Expedition about progress on our forthcoming book 'Polar Exposure'....

We hope you are all safe and well. Apologies that it has been several months since the last update on our progress but we finally have some great news to share with you all.

After the wonderful support we received for the book during our pre-order campaign last November - THANK YOU! - we almost immediately received interest from Imagine Publishing. They are a US-based adult non-fiction imprint of Charlesbridge (which is primarily focused on fiction for children). Despite plenty of mutual excitement about working together on Polar Exposure from the very first communication, the Covid disruption that we have all become so accustomed to these recent months, meant that formalising everything took much longer than expected - but now we can celebrate! 

'Polar Exposure' will be published by Imagine Publishing and I am completely over the moon about it! They really understand our vision for the book and are enthusiastic about making it something really special, so we are all very excited about working with them to create a book we will all be extremely proud to share with you all!

The book itself is shaping up really well. Some of the team are still writing, delayed a little by a baby-boom within the team (there are now three additions to the next generation - Congratulations!) but the most unique excuse of all for a writing hiatus has to be from Asma - team member from Qatar - who is currently half way to the summit of Mount Everest! The whole team is extremely proud of her and if you would like to follow her fortunes on the world's highest peak, Asma is posting on Instagram @atalthani

The rest of us are traveling vicariously through our memories of the Arctic Ocean as we write and edit. We'll keep you posted!
