Jessica Jay Dee is an entrepreneur, author, speaker, mindset coach and business strategy consultant. She is a Certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Master Practitioner, Organizational Leadership Coach and Marine Corps veteran.
Jessica was born in a double wide trailer in back country southern Illinois in 1984, to her parents, Jimmy and Janet Bruden. She has a little brother, JD, who is a year younger. Her family moved to Colorado Springs, CO when she was eight years old. She never played a single team sport growing up, but she enjoyed the arts (drama, jazz choir, solo and ensemble, literature and creative writing). Her report cards often reflected A's or F's, which was also reflective of her interests. She attended summer school and enrolled in correspondence courses for basic mathematics in order to graduate high school, yet still managed to graduate on time and with honors in 2002.
Jessica enlisted in the United States Marine Corps at age seventeen, just before September 11th, 2001, under the motivation and mentorship of her Junior Recruit Officer Training Corps Instructor, retired Marine Corps First Sergeant, Angelo "Joe" Serrone.
Jessica served over twelve years on active duty in the Marine Corps, as an air traffic control tower supervisor, formal aviation instructor, legal administration chief, equal opportunity advisor (EEO), sexual assault victim's advocate, and as a Detachment Commander, advising United States Ambassadors Chiefs of Mission at foreign embassies under the Marine Security Guard Program. Jessica served as a Tower Crew Chief in Iraq during Operation Enduring Freedom and has lived abroad in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Prague, Czech Republic and Havana, Cuba while working alongside the State Department. She has traveled to over 25 countries.
After leaving the Marine Corps as a Gunnery Sergeant in 2014, she founded and led three start up companies and has created a unique brand for herself along the way. In 2017, she was individually recruited for placement as the United States National Director of Training and Business Development for a bio-technology start up company out of the UK. During which, she led teams in branding, marketing, public relations, order fulfillment, and operations. Jessica left her position in 2018 to pursue the writing of her book full time- and somehow manifested the exact income to keep her mortgage paid and dreams funded.
Jessica is adaptable, feminine, fun, eloquent, eclectic, and tenacious. She is single with no children, and experiencing the brutal world of dating--- after divorce--- at age 35.
She lost her father in May 2018 to alcoholism, and has definitely lost her sense of self throughout her journey, as well as discovered and reinvented herself time and time again.
Jessica Jay Dee attended Embry Riddle Aeronautical University for her undergraduate degree in Professional Aeronautics and Master’s Program in Project Management while on active duty.
Jessica resides in Los Angeles, CA and Denver, CO. In addition to coaching and consulting, she is heavily involved in many entrepreneurial endeavors in the realms of business platform innovation, global thought leadership and human consciousness.

I left my full time job and scaled back my entrepreneurship endeavors last February in order to commit to writing this manuscript full time. It was well worth the risk, the effort, and the commitment! Three years after the first word of my manuscript was written, we have a book.

I wrote POTENTIALLY HUMAN for people just like me: I am not an avatar. I have varying interests and an eclectic background. I want to know what makes people tick. I want to know how I can be a better person, better family member, friend, lover, leader and entrepreneur. I have asked some intriguing and difficult questions [to myself] throughout my writing journey. What I have discovered about myself and about our conscious and modern evolution has been INCREDIBLE and completely unexpected.
We are ready to level up personally, professionally, romantically, physically and spiritually; and I wanted to write a book for us.
