Kurt Ellis am a South African writer and his first novel, By Any Means, was published in 2014 by NB Publishers. The novel has been nominated for the Etisalat African Literature Award in 2015 and the writer himself has won the Oppenheimer Literature Award in 2005 and was shortlisted for Miles Morland Award in 2014 and 2015. Kurt dreams of being a full time writer which is why he is pursuing publishing avenues internationally. The Blood of Winter is potentially the first book in a trilogy, but can also be a stand alone and Kurt Ellis intends to publish it under a pen-name.
Kurt is 32 years old, lives in Johannesburg and is married with two children.
