Timothy Lann

Timothy Lann is the Founder and President of Brothers Against Poverty, a 501(c)3 charity organization focusing on serving children and families in need. He is a student at Stanford University studying Economics and Engineering Physics and conducting Archaeology research. Timothy was named one of Seattle’s Most Talented Youth in 2014, and received the Free Mason’s Scholar Citizen Award in 2013, as well as being named a Ronald Reagan Presidential Scholar, Coca-Cola National Scholar, National Honors Society Scholar, and TEDx Fellow.

Brothers Against Poverty was founded by Timothy in 2011 and currently works in six countries. Timothy hopes to expand the organizations outreach into eight countries this year. The organization has three main goals: To reduce poverty, increase access to education, and support families and youth pursuing their dreams. Everyone involved in Brothers Against Poverty is under the age of 20, supporting Timothy’s goal of youth serving youth. The organization works with multiple partners to serve communities, including Habitat For Humanity and King’s Castle International. The organization has raised over $300,000 to date and has served over 30,000 children and families in need.

Timothy is from Bellingham, Washington and currently lives in Palo Alto, California. He has traveled extensively throughout Mexico, Nicaragua, El Salvador, and Honduras working with Brothers Against Poverty and has also worked on Biology research on the Hawaiian Island of Molokai.
