Jane Everson

Jane Everson, Ph.D. is a semi-retired university researcher and professor who left the workforce early to care for her aging parents. She joined forces with her co-author, Frances S. Hall, also an adult-child caregiver for an aging mother to found ACAPCommunity, a non-profit dedicated to providing information, resources, support and community to adult-child caregivers. Prior to her retirement, Jane published more than 100 books, journal articles, and professional manuscripts focusing on services to adults with disabilities and their families. With ACAPcommunity, she has used her research and writing experiences to develop a 6-module curriculum addressing topics that adult-child caregivers nationally are interested in knowing.
