I was born in Spain and I graduated from the University of Granada (Spain). I received my Ph.D. degree in Neuroscience (summa cum laude) from the University of Oldenburg (Germany). I spent two years working in a laboratory in the Dalhousie University in Halifax (Canada), and then I moved to UCLA (Los Angeles, CA) where I am currently trying to develop new strategies to prevent vision loss after optic nerve injury. I have published more than a dozen scientific articles in different prestigious journals. THE ATTACK was published in Spain from 2012 to 2014 by Seleer editorial and is my first novel translated into English.
