Patricia Diener lives with her family in Lake County, California. She is a public school librarian by day and writer of fiction, and memoirs by night. Patricia, (Patti to her friends), has written many short stories, inspirational pieces, and memoirs for many years. This is her first novel. She was compelled to write it because the Valley Fire was so catastrophic to her community, that she wanted to portrait love and hope in the aftermath of such devastation.
