Don
Chapman is a freelance writer, playwright and historian. His first book “1788:
The People of the First Fleet” was published successfully in the 1980s. Since
then he has worked as an actor, playwright and community development worker. He
has mainly written plays including “Refugee” and “Grandmother Courage” for
Warringah Youth Theatre; “The Oaffs”, The Lamb and Flag London; and “Red Rags to a
Bully” Adelaide
Fringe 2004. In 2010 he won the Fleurieu One Act Play Competition for “Robinson
Crusoe Magpie”. “Love in the Third Age” is his first book of fiction.
