John F. Morken grew up in Marin County, California, north of San Francisco. After graduating from the University of California at Berkeley, he attended law school at the University of San Francisco and Oxford, England. He worked as a trial attorney in San Francisco for many years and represented clients from all walks of life. Mr. Morken has been published in the Marin Independant Journal's Opinion section and has written legal briefs filed in many California Superior and Appellate Courts. He has also written a Petitioner's Brief filed in the United States Supreme Court and the Supreme Court of Ohio. Mr. Morken also writes for www.Redwoodbaseball.com-currently covering the JV Baseball team. The Green Tea's Cave is his first novel. A second novel entitled: The Golden Hinde Conspiracy, is currently being written which is a sequel to the Green Teas' Cave.
