At the age of twelve, author, Jenny Whitmire was introduced to Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia and was instantly captivated with the era. As she grew, she learned to appreciate her own Irish heritage and the many mysteries that past centuries hold here in the states as well as abroad. Her obsessions with pirate lore has driven the researcher within herself to begin to bring to light the more real stories of how some may have come to be called "Pirate" and her own visions of the treasures they have left behind.
