Tim Schulte has experience in virtually every facet of the book industry. He has been a National Book Buyer for a nationwide book Chain (Musicland), a Regional Marketing Director in charge of author promotion (Cedarfort Books) a National Accounts Manager for a major book wholesaler and publisher and a book retailer with experience in Independent and Big Box book selling. Tim procured Steve Alten’s, “The Shell Game,” overseeing the campaign that turned the novel into a NY Times bestseller and worked with best-selling author, Richard Paul Evans’ wholesale company as National Accounts Manager for distribution and publishing. From 2010 through 2014 he ran his own publishing company Variance, selling over 30,000 hardbacks of Steve Alten’s MEG: Hell’s Aquarium. He later scaled back operations to primarily ebooks.
