Jennifer B. Rhodes, Psy.D. is a California (PSY 23201) and New York State (#018122) licensed psychologist who specializes in School Neuropsychology, Child Forensic Psychology and Early Childhood Mental Health. She is currently in Private Practice in New York and the San Francisco Bay Area where she maintains a clinical child and adolescent school neuropsychology practice as well as a child forensic psychology practice. Dr. Rhodes also provides long distance treatment and consultation services for individuals located in California.
Dr. Rhodes has advanced training in the assessment of attachment, parent-child relationships, parenting, the impact of divorce, child development and trauma with infants and young children. Prior to receiving her doctorate, Dr. Rhodes completed a Master’s degree in Child Development at Sarah Lawrence College and a Master’s degree in School Psychology. She received her doctorate degree in 2008 from Yeshiva University with an emphasis in clinical child psychology and completed clinical training at Bellevue Hospital, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, the Early Childhood Center at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and the NYU Child Study Center. In 2009 Dr. Rhodes completed her post-doctoral fellowship in Infant Mental Health at Tulane University School of Medicine where she received her child custody training and advanced training in the assessment and treatment of young children involved in the dependency court system. Dr. Rhodes completed a second post-doctoral fellowship in 2010 in Forensic Psychology at the Institute of Violence, Abuse and Trauma at Alliant International University in San Diego, California. Dr. Rhodes also has training in parenting coordination and divorce mediation. She is recognized in the State of California as meeting the requirements needed to conduct Child Custody Evaluations and Brief Focused Assessments. She sits on the editorial board of the Journal of Child Custody and the Journal of Aggression, Maltreatment & Trauma.

In addition to her private practice, Dr. Rhodes maintains a separate relationship consultancy, Rapport Relationships.  Dr. Rhodes is a sought after relationship expert who has appeared on WPIX-11 and FOX News and well has been quoted in the NY Post, Women’s Health, Business Insider, the Huffington Post and various other media outlets.

In 2017, Dr. Rhodes founded Visual Arts Reimagined (VAR), an entrepreneurship and leadership consultation program for international visual artists. VAR combines business skills and visual arts mentorship with relationship neuroscience skills to give artists the tools they need to design their future.
