Greg White

Author, blogger, television writer, world traveler, and inveterate bon vivant, Greg White is a former sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps, now battling it out online and on television. He is a bi-coastal, polo-playing, sixth-generation Texan with a voracious appetite for life.

He served six years in the Marines, achieving the rank of sergeant. Truly a glutton for punishment, he went on to complete Officer Candidate School over the course of two summers after boot camp—effectively completing basic training three times.

His memoir The Pink Marine is in bookstores October 2015.

The book is being developed for a TV series by Rachel Davidson and Pamela Oas Williams.

He contributes to The Huffington Post and Good Men Project.

He has a long history in film and television production. His writing credits include HBO’s Dream On, Norman Lear’s The Powers That Be and 704 Hauser, Fox’s Life With Louie, Sony’s animated series Jumanji, and Disney’s Social Studies. He currently has a sitcom in development with Norman Lear’s Act III.

This year he shot a pilot for Food Network as host and cook for a food and travel adventure show and competed on Mark Burnett’s TV show On The Menu. He is not a doctor, but played one on Another World.

He joins this season’s cast of Unique Sweets on Cooking Channel, and has his own show in development with them.

He is living it up, and living to tell about it.
