Chris Stable, EdD is the Chief Learning Officer at the Woodbridge Institute of Learning Excellence. His experience includes being an Associate Vice Chancellor of Teaching and Learning at a major university since 2005. In this position, he envisioned and created a successful teaching and learning community that focuses on helping faculty take ownership of their educational performance. This community has been in existence for four years and has increased the value-added learning experiences for both faculty and their students.
In addition to his higher educational experiences, Dr. Stabile served for 10 years as a teacher and leader in K-12 education. Dr. Stabile has recently published a book chapter on faculty development in the New Direction series by Jossey- Bass in April 2013. He currently co-edited a New Directions in Teaching and Learning regarding Constructivism that is scheduled for a January 2016 release.
To keep current in the literature and practice of teaching and learning he conducts multiple educational presentations at teaching-focused and accreditation-focused conferences. He continually serves as a both an award winning adjunct online and on-ground undergraduate and graduate faculty member. He earned both a Doctor of Education in Child and Youth Studies specializing in Curriculum Development and Systemic Studies and a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies concentrating in Philosophy from Nova Southeastern University.
