Unleashing Potential, Purpose, and Power in the Workplace
Rearchitecting Work! is a paradigm shift from a focus on performance management to a focus on unleashing people's potential, championed by an enterprising and impact-oriented Human Resources function. The importance of business results does not change, but HOW those results are achieved is radically altered, with a blueprint that also changes the hearts and minds of the participants.

Hi Possibility Partners. . . A few quick progress notes!
- Book is at the editor since May 17th. I'm concerned about hitting my Labor Day target date for sending you your copies, but I've not given up on that idea yet!
- Goal for an official website launch for possibilitypartners.org is also Labor Day weekend. Am seeking assistance to move my info from WordPress to Kajabi, which offers more all-in-one services vs. the multi-plug-in's required by WordPress. Still have multiple edits and functionality to create for the site so can provide an online possibility partners membership community, along with offering courses for HR futurists to build the Possibility Partners Unleashing Potential workplaces.
- Have read two books I'm highly recommending to everyone I know:
The Extended Mind: The Power of Thinking Outside the Brain, by Annie Murphy Paul. It's based on credible scientific research (heard the author on an Ezra Klein podcast) that reveals how we can tap the intelligence that exists beyond our brains -- in our bodies, our surroundings, and our relationships. It debunks the myths that our brains are like computers or muscles that can be improved with more use. Reinforces the idea that our physical conditions in the workplace have a major impact on how we think!
The other book is The Heart of Business: Leadership Principles for the Next Era of Capitalism, by Hubert Joly, the Best Buy CEO from 2012 - 2018 who led their successful turnaround. He writes, "A sense of endless possibilities, both for oneself and for the business in pursuit of a noble purpose, fuels inner drive, positive energy, and the desire to bring one's best self to the table. . . purpose also helps create an expansive mindset and a sense of possibility, particularly in tough times." He writes business no longer has the singular purpose of maximizing shareholder value as Milton Friedman stated, but rather business is about purpose and people, with profit as the outcome.
So appreciate your partnerships . . . will keep you updated! Hope you're enjoying your summer!
With gratitude, joy, and love,
Dianne
