After a couple of pivots, an anchor client and a strategic decision to focus on one offering, Patch Organics Pumpkin SeedMilk was born! Launching Fall 2020. Patricia is working on the manuscript for a Plant based, allergen-friendly Cookbook focusing on seeds to educate consumers and provide healthy and more sustainable options.

Synopsis

Although there are a lot of plant milks out there, they are far from perfect. Many fall short in terms of allergens, nutrition, and sustainability. In fact, most of the plant milks overlap the top eight major food allergens including: dairy, nuts, wheat, soy, and coconut. Secondly, most milk alternatives are not as nutritious as what they are replacing. They lack the protein, calcium, and Vitamin D that make dairy popular with everyone from kids to health conscious adults.

Most milk alternatives are relatively unsustainable in energy, water, or land use. For instance, dairy itself has large land and well-water impact, and significant greenhouse gas emissions. Almond milk still uses excessive water, an issue that was the catalyst for creating Patch Organics Pumpkin SeedMilk, and now this plant-based Cookbook to educate our target market.

In tandem with the launch of Patch Organics Pumpkin Seed Milk, the newest entrant to the Alt Milk Revolution, Patricia offers this recipe book filled with creative, simple to make on the go vegan meals, snacks and elixirs for optimizing health of your body and the planet.
