Attila's mission is to spread knowledge about startup studios and empower entrepreneurs to build new ventures easier. He is COO of Drukka Startup Studio and author of several startup studio related publications.
He gained leadership experience at Fortune 500 companies like IBM and Citigroup, before turning to startups. He built his first venture in 2014 - which turned out to be a painful failure.
Before building his next venture, he was determined to find a better way - one that provides a risk-free environment for experimentation and all the resources needed for quickly getting up startups from the ground. This is how Attila became fond of the startup studio approach.
Exploring inspiring examples like Science-Inc, Betaworks, eFounders he joined Drukka to implement the same principles. Few years later, using this approach, Drukka became the fastest growing startup studio in the CEE region - far away from Silicon Valley.
At that time, there were only blog posts and articles about startup studios, but no detailed guidance. In 2015 Attila started to research this topic, to gather best practices, and published two publications about startup studios:
The book launched on Product Hunt in 2016, generating a lot of amazing feedback from early-readers.
The book has been translated to Russian also, and Nikkei Business Publishing bought the rights to translate and distribute it in Japanese. The Portuguese, Persian and Hungarian translations are in progress thanks to the amazing startup studio community.
