Boy, if you thought it takes a village to raise a child, try getting a book out to the world. Today is a long-awaited and monumental day. After wading through all of the offers and possibilities these last few months, this morning I signed with Harvard Square Editions who will be publishing "THAT ONE CIGARETTE" later this year.
I also signed on today with an editor I'm very excited to work with to get the final version of the manuscript into the best possible shape. He really seems to get where I'm going with the book and has already had some wonderful suggestions and thoughts.
It's happening, people -- and I can't begin to thank all of you who've been so supportive along the way. I also need to thank Guy, Lee and Ylva at Publishizer who have been my spirit guides and cheerleaders to get me to this point in the process.
I look forward to sending you all an invite to the book launch party this summer. YAHOO!
