Hello Everyone,
I wanted to send out an update regarding my upcoming book The People Out There.
So far I’ve had a few meetings with publishers about possible partnerships, and I have a few scheduled for next week as well. There are two publishers in particular that I think would be a great fit – one that I am in talks with now and one that I am scheduled to speak with soon. I hoped to unveil the publisher in this update, but as with many aspects of this project, I'm practicing patience and embracing the fact that I'm a newbie in this process.
I was initially hoping for a summer delivery of the printed book. However, I anticipate sharing a more solid print date in my next update once I sign a contract with a publisher and we get a firm timeline drafted. You'll be the first to know as soon as I do!
In any event, I wanted to update you all but also thank you again for your support. And to those who took the time to read the sample chapters and send me your comments, your feedback was invaluable. If you any questions or feedback about how the book is coming along, please let me know.
Thank you again!
Maia
