I've got to hold my hands up and say that I missed my self-imposed deadline of mid-July but having dropped down an editorial wormhole, I'm thoroughly expecting to get everything nailed within the next two weeks.
To accomplish this, I'm *trying* to avoid all internet based distractions. Which is not easy given that the Madness of President Donny is taking us to the precipice of Armageddon. Not before my books been published you doll-handed fucktard! It also means no pouring over spurious football transfer gossip and OD'ing on cat videos. The latter is by far the toughest...
Rest assured, I'm cracking on and the dismal Mancunian Summer is helping out ably.
Feels good to be getting so close to finishing the final edit and personally, I think the book will be well worth the wait. A definite couple of goosebump moments for me when going back over my first draft.
I'll let you know when the finished manuscript is winging its way to my publisher!
