Update #4 - Crowdfunding Campaign End Jan. 30, 2016

Sadly, all things come to an end and so has my Crowdfunding Campaign. I'm grateful to Publishizer for the opportunity but I'm even more grateful to those of you who pre-ordered 'To Kill A Fragile Rose: The State's Case Against Oscar Leonard Carl Pistorius'.

I'm an Indie Author. But, not just any kind of Indie Author. I'm the kind of Indie Author who takes writing seriously, who ensured that despite not having a traditional publisher, the editing of the book for technical accuracy and language proficiency, is done professionally. The capitalization of 'Indie Author' should offer some clue as to my seriousness. I am of course going to publish. I am, because that has always been my aim.

The campaign could of course have been more successful but, I can't quite cry over spilt milk. Those who pre-ordered will receive their books soon. The most exciting phase for me is my upcoming book launch, the marketing campaign, book reviews in local and international media, television and radio interviews, readings at universities and book clubs as well the Cinematic Book Trailer Premiere.

In some strange way I'm more excited about having my book at the National Library and other repositories. It is the sharing of knowledge and archiving of the sweat of my toils that I find exciting. I don't intend to go on an offensive marketing campaign but the television and radio interviews as well as the book launch, will add to the explosive and riveting quality of the book!
