It's been 9 months since finishing my crowd-funding campaign and I'm much the wiser. Going it alone without a traditional publisher is onerous if not hazardous especially when one is not negotiable when it comes to the quality of the book. The incidental costs are astronomical - technical editing, proof-reading, marketing, book-cover design, printing, book-trailer production and of course the book-launch.

Perhaps, and with the benefit of hindsight, I ought to have kept you abreast of developments but I want to take this opportunity to thank you for the support and to advise that the end is near. The book will hit the streets approximately two months after the Supreme Court of Appeal decision on the State's application for leave to appeal (and the appeal, should leave be granted), is out.

I have three other titles coming out in 2017 so it's set to be a very busy year:-

2. The State versus Shrien Dewani and

3. The Verdicts: As The Law & Politics Clash (The Legal Trials & Tribulations of President Jacob Gedleyihkekisa Zuma)

As for me, I'm too immersed in the struggles of my daily life, trying hard to ensure that I look within to find solutions to mountains of problems. But, I'm happy and thankful that I'm alive, I'm happy and grateful that I have the gifts I do and I will surely be slaving away to ensure I find the resources to make all these dreams a realized reality!
