I am very excited about the progress we have been making the last few months. Our wonderful team at Blue Balloon has been working hard on getting the images professionally photographed/edited, choosing a font, coming up with a layout design, getting everything typeset and ready to move towards publication. This includes a brand new full page cover design (see above) with new art (thanks Yvonne)!
We have set October 1st as the official publishing date. Just to clarify that does not mean that you will receive your book on October 1st. It means that is when they will be available to start the process of getting them signed and shipped (assuming no unforeseen delays occur) but we have every expectation that they will be in your hands before the Christmas season. Speaking of shipping there are a few updates to let you know about. First, you will be receiving two different shipments the first shipment which we are anticipating sending out in the late summer/early fall will be all of your rewards EXCEPT the book. So if you are suppose to receive a Christmas card, ornament, signed picture etc. that will be coming first and separately. So when you receive that from us and the book is not with it don't be concerned the book is coming. Your second shipment will be sent directly from the publisher (don't worry for those who are getting signed copies we have worked out how to make that happen). As we get closer to the time I will be reaching out to all of you to make sure that your mailing address has not changed. If you do find yourself needing to update your shipping information it is important that you respond with that information when the time comes to make sure you receive your order.
Now that we have an ISBN, publication date and finalized cover design we will soon be making the book available on Barnes & Noble's website for pre-order for those that missed the campaign. When it is live I will send you the link. Whether or not retail locations choose to pick it up will in large part depend on the pre-order sales that they see so I would appreciate it greatly if you share it with your friends and family that missed the Publishizer campaign.
Taking an idea and turning it into a book has been a long and exciting journey and I am so glad to be on this journey with you. Thanks for your support and patience as we make this book a reality together.
