Update #10 - Sad news & good news Sept. 17, 2018

Hello from a very hot 'n humid Bali!

The sad news is that I've had to split from my publisher. Without getting into (boring!) details about how or why I rescinded the contract, let's just say that I felt that my book merited more attention and I, more communication -  than he was able (or willing) to provide. I've been feeling disappointed and sad, even a little nervous at the prospect of having to start over. In fact, I thought this sudden ending was going to set me back to square one. But, not true!!

The good news is that (as you already know), the manuscript is complete ;) Which I expect *hope!* will make the search for a literary agent / publisher easier; or perhaps I will still decide to self-publish. The field is wide open at the moment, and I have a lot of work ahead of me. But in order to ensure that my manuscript is given the best treatment it deserves, I need to do everything I can to place it into the hands of a publisher (if I choose to go that route) who will appeciate and understand what my first publisher unfortunately could not.

Finally, an apology: Although I promised to deliver the published book by next month or the end of 2018 at the latest, at this point, I can't yet provide a publication date. So as much as I've been truly grateful for your patience during the writing and editing process, I hope I can count on your continued support and patience as I wade through this unexpected period of time. I have faith that I'll end up with a much better book!

I promise to keep you posted with further updates as they happen.

With armfuls of gratitude,

Amit
