A Journey to the End of the Earth (and Beyond)
One woman's search for healing and peace of mind on El Camino de Santiago - with two donkeys, a wobbly cart, a selectively-mute Portuguese hermit and a faithful German pilgrim.

Hello, shalom, privet et bonjour de Provence (France)!
I'm so happy to let you know that I've finished writing my manuscript, and just shipped it off to my publisher in the US - thank goodness for e-mail ;) It's been an incredible journey thus far and I am deeply indebted to my amazing editor, Shelley; she turned my rambling stories into something I'm proud to call a finished manuscript. I'm sure there will be a few more crossing of the Ts and rounds of editing (c/o the publisher's staff) but my book edges that much closer to publication...
I feel very blessed and grateful to have had these past 2+ weeks to immerse myself (surrounded by 4 pets and lots of plants!) in a tiny quaint French village, just north of Antibes and Juan-les-Pins; where I haven't done much more than WRITE and EDIT and RE-EDIT and REVISE. REPEAT - ad nauseum!! (Ok, in all fairness, I've squeezed in a little bit more - check out my blog for details: healingpilgrim.com)
So, how do I feel? Relief. Nerve-wracked. Impatient. Excited. Scared. All of the above.
Finally, another BIG thank you, for your support and patience.
With heaps of gratitude and a dose of Mediterranean sunshine,
x Amit
