Update #6 - Hot off the press! The first draft is here 🥂 Oct. 22, 2024

Hey everyone, another update hot off the presses for you today 🔥The first beta draft of the book is here!

From September 3rd to October 15, I wrote and edited 104,000+ words (272 pages in 12 pt Arial font) for "Unlimit"âš¡More than 50 chapters are finished already!

It's one of the most significant achievements of my life... and though I feel accomplished, it's also been a bit exhausting at times! 🤯

There has been a bit of a snag or two importing and laying out the manuscript into InDesign, so the finished PDF is still in progress... but for the meantime, you can check out three parts of the manuscript here!

So far, I have the first drafts finished for three sections:

1. Hack Time
2. Optimo
3. PeakPreneur

The introduction is also finished, meanwhile we are working on the AIZen as the fourth section and putting together the guest author contributions!

We are also looking for feedback from beta readers -- if you would like to read over the early beta version and would be interested to provide feedback to help improve the book, just reply to this e-mail and let me know.

As for now, the work continues and I'm pulling out all the stops to make this book great. Thank you so much for your patronage on this project and be in touch soon!

Danny
Author, "Unlimit"

PS. How did I complete this much of the book in such a short time? Here’s a few things that made a difference!

1. Movement is essential. Exercise is a panacea for most productivity bottlenecks, including creative block. When we move our bodies, we increase the flow of blood to our brains and improve circulation of oxygen throughout our entire body. Whenever I feel that I am in an unproductive state, I set a small minimum requirement of 15 minutes of vigourous exercise to get back on my feet and ready to go again. I wrote 90% of my book outdoors at a calisthenics park, transcribing words onto my phone in between sets, and performed 90% of the editing while walking on a treadmill desk  at my condo gym.

2. Do intermittent fasting every day. When I am in a fasted state, my thinking is clear and my internal resistance to work is essentially non-existent. I don't usually fast more than 20 hours and have never fasted more than 24. But for the entire time, I am on fire mentally and physically. Conversely, eating food slows me down considerably, so if I want to take a nap, I will eat a heavy meal beforehand.

3. Set a time constraint. I decided to write my entire book in Thailand because I knew that I would receive a 60-day visa exemption upon arrival. My goal was to use the entire two months to focus on nothing else but writing. I set a challenge for myself to have something completed before the deadline and when I had to travel again.

4. Eat an avocado daily. Here in Thailand, I get an avocado and banana smoothie (without sugar) every day, and it makes a significant difference on the level of energy that I have.
