Up to 20% of people testing positive for Covid have ongoing symptoms after 12 weeks – and are thus classed as having long Covid. This is still unknown and not understood and people are left with brain fog, relapses, fatigue, a host of other inexplicable symptoms – and little support out there for them.
We Will Covive addresses the ongoing physical symptoms of long Covid and some vital support for getting on with your life mentally with it. Reflecting on a Covid journey, looking at the mental self-harming that many long haulers subject themselves to as well as the immense loneliness that goes with post-viral fatigue, the author draws on her own experience and her family’s response to this long term illness.
Sam Munslow is an experienced coach. Her reflections and learning are insightful and educational – helping anyone with long term health issues to find ways to thrive mentally, despite the physical limitations.
