My first book is a story of triumph; an inspirational call to overcome hardship with grace. Starting from nothing is never easy, but finding the inner strength and the courage to stand up for yourself is the most valuable lesson we can learn. I’d like my journey be an inspiration to those who feel forgotten and alone. I’ve got a lot of heart, and I want to share it with you.
I strive to live a life free of hatred, extending an open hand to all those in need. I’ve found my passion caring for others. While raising awareness around the unfortunate reality of domestic violence, I also want to sound a rallying cry encouraging survivors to stand together in support, love, and solidarity. Domestic violence impacts people across all classes, races, and social situations. Survivors deserve to talk about their experiences without shame or guilt! I dream of sharing my story across the country, using my voice to help others find their own.
I want my life to serve as a humble reminder for everybody, not just domestic violence survivors, to live in the moment and take nothing for granted. Walk the dog, enjoy a nice glass of wine, and let yourself experience all of life’s simple pleasures.
I have made the decision to share my own journey trying to survive, and write a book about it because I had made crucial decisions to end my abuse nightmare and when I left all behind, it is when my true survival really started. I am sharing the dark secrets in our system when it comes to helping victims and all I had to endure to keep my self safe and build my life all over again. Also it is a journey of high endurance and out-of-line experiences.
I have nothing to hide and everything I did to survive make me just so proud of my self. Getting my story out to the light would make my survival finally complete.
My story is not just sad and serious all the way, it is also funny at times and inspiring, sprinkled with many fun moments. It makes you feel alive and take nothing for granted...
I have met people I never thought exist on earth, I have discovered a lot and learned about humanity things I would never imagine on my own.
