Isabella Modra was born in Adelaide, South Australia, where she graduated in 2011 and began working full-time. In 2012 she traveled Europe, backpacking from Ireland to Egypt to Sweden and many other countries. In 2013 she moved to Alberta, Canada, where she worked at a ski resort for seven months, then moved back to Australia. She is currently a travel agent at Flight Centre.
Isabella began her writing career at the age of thirteen, after having loved reading books all her life. She wrote a mystery series of nine books (unpublished) by the time she was fifteen, and has since then finished numerous, multi-genre novels. In her last year of high school, she decided to become a self-published author. ROUGE is her first self-published novel in a trilogy. The second, EMBERS & ICE, was released in 2014.

Well it's officially finished - the Consuming Fire campaign has closed and it is also 100% funded!
So what happens next? Well, I am hard at work finishing the final copy of Consuming Fire. Within the next few weeks, the book will be finalized and you will all get what was promised to you. For those of you who managed to get an invite to my book launch, stay tuned for the date as I haven't quite figured out when it will be just yet. Books will be printed and sent to those who pre-ordered, and then the book will be released to the public.
