Update #2 - I'M DOING MY HAPPY DANCE! March 26, 2019

Hello! I have officially pre-sold 251 books!

This means I have met my halfway goal and in my opinion, I have already won. I have surpassed the amount I thought I would be able to sell, and for that, I thank each of you!

I turn 30 on Sunday, which I understand some people might dread, but I am actually looking forward to the next decade. I am excited to move onward and upward personally and professionally. As you may know, I am getting married in August to my incredible partner and best friend, Jerard. And on the job front; well let's say that's still a work in progress, as I am literally waiting on a call right now about my next opportunity... Cross those fingers for me!

If you know me well, I have steadily been on the job hunt for the last 10 years. I never would have thought that it would take THIS LONG to get a position with a livable salary and benefits; but it has. So while the search ensues, I have learned how to have faith in the process and writing this book has given me a creative outlet to cope with the constant unknown.

I've been a dog-walker, a house-sitter, an Americorps member, a curriculum writer, a soap demo girl at Whole Foods, a full-time English teacher, a part-time dance teacher, an art teacher, a science teacher, a receptionist, and as you all know, A NANNY.

I have learned how to turn let-downs into opportunities and how to define what success looks like to me. On my terms.

Most importantly, I have had the opportunity to learn how to surrender to God's plan for me and my wish for each of you is that you can learn to do the same.

I would not have been able to do this without all the amazing people in my life. My parents, my Aunt Nanny Goat (Martha Ann Sloan), my sister, my Jerard, my girlfriends, my mentors and even some random strangers. I have been given countless words of encouragement, guidance, and most of all, LOVE from every direction.

Thank you again for helping me reach my personal goal.

This campaign alone has been the grand finale to my 20's.

THANKS FOR HELPING ME CELEBRATE!

Love,

Audrey
