Occupational Therapist. Passionate about posture, ergonomics and injury prevention.
I graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. I became passionate about ergonomics during my 20+ tenure as a hospital-based clinician. Working with many clients and colleagues, I was driven to help people make significant improvements in their personal comfort by making small (or big) changes in their workstation or job task set-up.
With the rapid evolution of mobile technology and my increased frequency of work travel over the last few years, I can't help but observe an expanding sea of people with poor posture at the airport, on airplanes and at coffee shops. What I see is the painfully poor posture, and what I know is that where there is poor posture, there is likely also pain. Pain that can be prevented or managed.
And that's what this book is about.

Wow, did time fly?
A little over 30 days ago we set off on a journey with an uncertain course. We knew where we wanted to go, but we weren't exactly sure how to get there. We weren't sure who we would meet along the way and who would ultimately end up aiding us on this adventure. But one thing was for certain, Kristen and I were up for the challenge, and we appreciate you and all of your support.
No we didn't sell thousands of copies, get to quit our day jobs and become insta-famous overnight Best Selling Authors. But that wasn't the journey we were on.
