Clara Pang grew up in New York City, but has lived in South Africa, Brazil, Indonesia, Australia, India, Switzerland and Spain. She speaks English, French, Spanish and Mandarin, as well as a bit of Portuguese, Cantonese, Indonesian and other languages based on where she’s lived.
Much of her travel has been guided by her passion for yoga and nonprofit work. She has practiced Ashtanga Yoga for fifteen years, traveling twice to study at the Shri K. Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute in Mysore, India. She taught yoga in Cape Town, South Africa, where she also volunteered for Ikamva Labantu, an NGO supporting township development programs. She has a particular love for Southern Africa, and has continued to work with Ubuntu Education Fund in Port Elizabeth, South Africa and helped build a school in Malawi with buildOn. Her article detailing a trip to Ubuntu was published in a commemorative issue of Centerpoint Now, a United Nations publication, to celebrate its 60th anniversary.
Clara loves change, disruption and finding ways to do things better. Not surprising for someone who enjoys being thrown into unfamiliar situations, she has also pursued a career with many of the same qualities. Clara has built a career in business development and marketing for innovative, high-growth Internet companies. Prior to this, she was a strategy consultant and investment banker.
Clara has an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a BSBA from Georgetown University.

Timing
The book is expected to ship out next month (October). I will send another update when I have a confirmed ship date from the printer and from there, I’ll include expected delivery times depending on your location.
Thanks for your patience – I know it’s feels like a long time since the campaign. As a measure of comparison, traditional publishing generally takes 12-18 months from manuscript completion to delivery, so self-publishing is actually much quicker!
